One who is unable to endure the five senses is incapable of entering and dwelling in right collectedness.

AN 5.113  Sammāsamādhi sutta - Right Collectedness

“Pañcahi, bhikkhave, dhammehi samannāgato bhikkhu abhabbo sammāsamādhiṁ upasampajja viharituṁ. Katamehi pañcahi? Idha, bhikkhave, bhikkhu akkhamo hoti rūpānaṁ, akkhamo saddānaṁ, akkhamo gandhānaṁ, akkhamo rasānaṁ, akkhamo phoṭṭhabbānaṁ. Imehi kho, bhikkhave, pañcahi dhammehi samannāgato bhikkhu abhabbo sammāsamādhiṁ upasampajja viharituṁ.

“|Bhikkhus,::::| possessing five qualities, a bhikkhu is incapable of entering and dwelling in |right collectedness::perfect stability of mind, correct mental composure [sammāsamādhi]|. What five? Here, a bhikkhu is |unable to endure::intolerant of [akkhama]| sights, unable to endure sounds, unable to endure odors, unable to endure tastes, and unable to endure tactile sensations. Possessing these five qualities, a bhikkhu is incapable of entering and dwelling in right collectedness.

Here, a bhikkhu is able to endure sights, able to endure sounds, able to endure odors, able to endure tastes, and able to endure tactile sensations. Endowed with these five qualities, a bhikkhu is capable of entering and dwelling in right collectedness.”
